Our Story
Emerging from the innovative landscape of Austrian technology, SpeedPox has rapidly established itself as a leading force in advanced epoxy resin solutions since 2020.
We're revolutionizing the epoxy resin industry with our patented self-curing process, which can be initiated individually with UV light or another heat source.
Our breakthrough technology enables applications across electronics, automotive, construction, and maritime industries. We partner closely with customers to deliver solutions that meet exacting standards and drive innovation.
Born from scientific excellence at TU Vienna, SpeedPox emerged from the groundbreaking 'CURRATEC' project, supported by an FFG spin-off fellowship grant. Our roots in the TU Wien i²c incubator program provided the perfect environment to transform innovative research into market-ready solutions.
Early momentum gained through AWS PreSeed and AWS Seed funding accelerated our development trajectory. The addition of Simon Wendelin as co-founder and business angel in 2021 brought new strategic vision to our team. Our expansion to Gerasdorf/Seyring in 2023 marked a pivotal moment, enhancing our operational capabilities and customer service reach.
A landmark seven-digit financing round led by the industrial family de Krassny in late 2023 validated our innovative approach. Today, our exceptional leadership team combines deep expertise in polymer chemistry with strategic business acumen: Daniel Grunenberg (CEO), Raffael Baumfried (CSO), Alexander Ricke (CTO), Simon Bellink (CFO), and Simon Wendelin (board member). Together, we're driving sustainable innovation in advanced materials technology.

Bye Bye Korneuburg
We are excited to announce that SpeedPox has moved its headquarters from Korneuburg to Seyring (Holz-Steiner-Straße 6, 2201 Seyring, Austria), in our brand new location.
The move was a significant step for us, as we’re now in a better position to serve our customers and expand our operations. At our new location, we have quintupled our space! For the first time, we have separate laboratory, office and production space, which will help us to organize our work and improve efficiency. Thank you for being a part of our journey. Meet our new CTO, Alex!
We are thrilled to introduce our new co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Alex, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, a Master’s degree in organic chemistry, and has recently completed his PhD in polymer chemistry.
With his diverse educational background and extensive knowledge in chemistry, Alex brings a unique perspective and innovative ideas to our team. Alex’s expertise helps us to stay ahead of the curve. With his leadership, we are excited to see where our technological development will take us, as we work towards our goal of revolutionizing the epoxy industry.
